This year has been especially challenging for the third sector, but thanks to our dedicated supporters, Little Gate is thrilled to share some exciting news about recent grant successes that will help us continue our life-changing work.
We are proud to announce that Little Gate has secured a 3-year grant to support our Supported Apprenticeship Programme. This funding will be instrumental in helping our work trainees with learning disabilities and/or Autism secure apprenticeships in their chosen fields. A heartfelt thank you goes to the National Lottery Community Fund and all National Lottery players for making this possible.
We are also excited to share that a generous Little Gate supporter selected a golden token in Tesco's Stronger Starts blue token scheme. This resulted in Little Gate receiving a £5,000 grant, which will be used to equip our Young Rangers field kitchen. A huge thank you to our supporter and to Tesco for making this happen. The field kitchen will provide our Young Rangers with the opportunity to learn how to prepare healthy snacks and meals, while also gaining valuable knowledge about health and safety, nutrition, and healthy cooking practices.
